William H. Reiff Letter

Abstract A letter recounting a skating party on Conestoga Creek by the Normal School students, in which the students were reprimanded for the young men and women skating together. This would have taken place in the mid-1870s when Reiff was a student. The letter is written to W.W. Griest (Class of 1876) and member of the House of Representatives, Washington, D.C.

York County bridge survey

Scope and Contents Survey ledger consists of over eighty black and white photographs adhered to forms printed for the York County Bridge Inspector. Describes each bridge by name, capacity, township, type, stream, superstructure and substructure, span, width, clearance, and pavings. Repairs with their dates and costs are also recorded. The bulk of the bridges surveyed were constructed from the 1890's to the 1930's.
