Official manuscript copies of a Sept. 28, 1789 act of the Pennsylvania General Assembly appropriating funds for the "improvement of roads and inland navigation" and an Apr. 10, 1862 act to improve and grade roads in West Lampeter Township, Lancaster County. Also includes a list of the original subscribers for the improvements.

Abstract

Account book includes record of income and expenditures in the operation of a farm. Ledger records payments to laborers in cash and in kind, as well as funds expended for the purchase of lime, and income received in payment for farm produce.
