Signatures include of teachers from both the Normal and Model Schools, including: J.V. Montgomery, J.P. Wickersham, E.B. Weaver (who died at Gettysburg during the Civil War), Lucretia G. Weaver, Fannie Willard, Mary Poole, H.W. Fisher, M. E. Smith and W.K. Stroup. There are a number of signatures from people living in York County, where she also resided. Included are two that denote that they are serving in the Army in 1863: T.W. Dick and W.C.F.
