Docket and account ledger of Constable John McLaughlin of Peters Township, Pa. The constable's docket covers the time period between 1858 and 1869 and documents the issuance of notices, warrants and summons to public offenders. The miller's account ledger lists the daily business activities of McLaughlin's flour and saw mill from 1866 to 1881. The legal transfers and business transactions include both Peters Township and the bordering township of Montgomery.
