Background notes. William W. Fell was the cousin of Oliver Fell and was from Buckingham in Bucks County. Joseph Brosius was a resident of Sadsbury Township in Lancaster County. The Methodist Church of Millersville was located on Prince Street a block west of the Normal School. The church relocated to its present North George Street address in 1871.
