Herr a prominent citizen of Manor Township and Board of Trustee member during the time Sallie attended and taught at the Normal School. Kate Worrest was Sallie's roommate. E. B. Weaver was Assistant Professor of Mathematics and J. V. Montgomery was Professor of Drawing, Penmanship and Bookkeeping at the Normal School.
