View of the Soldiers' Monument, honoring the Civil War Soldiers from MSNS taken from George Street. Postcard is postmarked Nov. 10, 1909 and addressed to Mrs. Violet Young, Marticville, Lanc. Co., Penna. Written note: "Dear Violet: How did you get home on Sun. evening did Claude Cry at every house that he passed. Tell Will. that his eye sight was bad on Sun. that he could not find Liberia I found it. It is on the Southwestern coast of Africa along the Atlantic Ocean. Your friend Maude."
