Summary Note
Front view of the President's House. The house was built in 1930 and designed by C. Emlen Urban and has served as the home of the president since its original dedication. In 1999 it was rededicated at Tanger House, in honor of Landis Tanger, the first president to live in the house. Postcard is postmarked Millersville Oct. 19, 1965 and addressed to Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Vranesic, 105 S. Lingle Ave., Palmyra, Pa. 17078. Note written: "Dear Ones All, I will be home this weekend, but I may have trouble getting home fore Sunday. I will let you know when I can get home in the next card. See you soon. Love, David."
