Names in ciphering book include Stephen C. Nichols, Elias Rathbun, Joseph Nichols, and Noah Palmer. Location appears to be Eceter/Exeter, RI. Dates are mostly from the 1830s and 1840s but laid in are some ledger accounts from the 1820s related to Nichols and Rathbut and the making and repair of shoes, etc.
