Thin folio with only the detached plain paper front wrapper present. Probably an early New England sea town ciphering book with a section on plane sailing and a beautifully executed compass "Rose" in red and black ink. No name, place or date, but on ca. 1805-1810 "Britania" or "Pro Patria" watermarked paper.
