Biographical information
Robert Waltrip "Bobby" Short was born 15 September 1924 in Danville, Illinois. He was a cabaret singer and pianist best known for his interpretations of songs by popular composers of the first half of the 20th century. He also appeared on film and television. He died 21 March 2005 in New York City.
