Biographical information
Bertice Reading was born 22 July 1933 in Chester, Pennsylvania. Her career began at the age of 3 when Bill "Bojangles" Robinson spotted her talent. She appeared on stage and in film. She died 8 June 1991 at the age of 57 in London from a stroke.
