Biographical information
Dancer and choreographer, Claude Marchant, appeared on Broadway and founded the Claude Marchant Dance Company. He left America, eventually settling in Sweden where he founded Balettakademien (The Ballet Academy) with Lia Schubert in Gothenburg in 1967. He died 5 June 2004 and is buried in Gothenburg, Sweden.
