Biographical information
Carmen was born 6 March 1931 in Los Angeles, California. She is a dancer, choreographer, professor and stage and film actress. She studied ballet with Melissa Blake in Los Angeles and was awarded a scholarship to study dance with Lester Horton. In 1955 she married dancer and actor, Geoffrey Holder.
