Biographical information
Samuel George Davis, Jr. was born 8 December 1925 in New York City. He was an American entertainer, primarily known for his singing and dancing. He was a child star, debuting at the age of 4 and was known as "Mr. Entainment." He was a founding member of the Rat Pack with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. He lost his left eye in a near fatal automobile accident in 1954. He appeared on Broadway and in numerous movies. He died 16 May 1990 in Beverly Hills, California.
